Someone is using my mobile number to call people.how do i stop it..

I have had 4 people call me today asking why I am calling them..someone is using my mobile number to make scam calls..how do I stop it..?

Welcome to the community.

It sounds like your number is being used by someone who is Call Spoofing. Hopefully they stop using it soon, but if you're receiving too many calls about this, I recommend speaking to our Mobile Care team who can change your number for you, as a last resort.

Hi. Have done so but other than saying it might not continue for long (?) or change the number (not possible) it looks like there’s nothing anyone can do other than bear the brunt of irate callers who think you have called them!

If someone gets upset over something as simple as a "funny" phone call after you've tried to explain, then just terminate the call and block them. Someone who gets irate at multiple people over something so simple, won't get very far in life...

The couple of these I've had, have ended in mutual amusement rather than anyone getting unnecessarily angry.
