Slight problem here, I've deleted the text message from my iPhone.

The only copy is in messages on my iMac. I've followed the instructions from Apple how to forward a message from a iMac ( ie select message then control+ click  then select Forward). The list of options I get does seem to contain the option to forward the message.

Do you have any suggestions as to what I am doing wrong?

Two additional points here.

1: By virtue of the text being received, you have mobile network service. Therefore at best, "suspended your account" can only mean "calls being restricted".

2: The URL listed in the text message is not the ee.co.uk official website. No reputable company in any industry would ever ask you to "click here to update" anything - classic phishing technique.
