Hi,
I have received a scam call from 02045867995 and an E-mail from <promotions@eemobilestore.com> about 30% promotion discount.
Initially, I verified my details but later realized it was a scam.
What should I do now as I have shared my name and address details?
Any suggestion please?
Thanks
Kind regards

Hi @Fariza
To report a scam call, simply text 7726 with the word ‘Call’ followed by the scam caller’s number.
You can forward the email to the Suspicious Email Reporting Service (SERS): report@phishing.gov.uk
If you have only given your name and address then I would not worry too much - there is little they can do with this information.
Thanks,
Alex

They told me that I had selected a 30% discount discount offer as I pay my
bills on time.
They asked for my address and DOB for confirmation (I should not share it
but I made a mistake). After that, I realized he was a scammer so I
disconnected the call.
Meanwhile, he called again and shared some promotional information
including Simm packages and plans with an initial deposit money of £50.00
which is refundable after receiving Simm.
Thanks

Hi @Alex_M
Thanks for your reply.
Yes, I have reported this scam by text message on 7726.
I shared my name, address and DOB. I hope it will not create any trouble for me in future.
Regards,

This has literally just happened to me. The women in the phone said the same thing but mentioned EE had recognised my loyalty for year and would send me a smart watch & that i was to accepted the next call to confirm delivery. When He told I mean ruined it was a scam and he hung up.
They new my email address and have sent me an email. I'm worried as they asked me to confirm my bill amount.

Hi @HNO13306
Welcome to the Community.
If you've not accepted any deal they've offered there should be nothing to worry about, but for peace of mind you can give Customer Service a call who can check your account and confirm nothing has been added.
You can visit How to avoid and prevent scams including phishing, vishing and smishing for hints on how to block and prevent unsolicited contact from other companies,
You can also report the call to be investigated at Report a scam call | Help
Alternatively, text CALL followed by the number that called you, to 7726 .
Ali
