Yesterday I had a call from 02081787779 followed by a whatsap call from 07961656387
This was about blocking my sim and sending another out by post.
Check my full name, address - the wanted to HALVE my bill for me ! (he did ask me how much I was paying a month !!)
Then to set up a new direct debit wanted bank account number and sort code, long card number, expiry date and CV
I spoke with 2 guys - probably some sort of African accents.
Obvious to me it was a scam because I am NOT AN EE CUSTOMER !!
They used these email address' as well
Not sure how they managed to use this second email address - as it's the same as the one I have just received from EE about joining this chat !!!
