Random Calls from companies I’ve never heard of

Over the past couple of weeks I’ve been getting calls from genuine companies (Cafes,restaurants,garages etc) that I have never been in contact with/been to. They are from all over the UK and they don’t seem to be scam calls. I don’t know how they are getting my number but I get 2-3 calls a day.

could somewhere be sharing my number or could it have been duplicated or something?

We call these Spam, could be vengeful ex has given out your number or something

I don’t think so, I’ve been with my husband for over 10 years 😂

I’ve been having this same thing! It’s so bizarre - not sure why it’s happening and how they could have gotten number.

I have had 2 calls within a couple of days , both restaurants within the UK , nowhere near to me. Both look legitimate places. Do not know how they got my number . Both missed calls .

That sounds unusual, @sidwalsh1. Were they just normal landline/mobile numbers?

I've literally had the same thing!

both look like landline numbers . The only difference is that they both have smart and a picture of a phone next to them. I did check one of the restaurants and it is the phone number on their web site .
