Possible scam call?

I’ve just had a call from someone claiming to be from EE telling me that they can reduce my bill and asking me about the quality of my connection. When I started asking questions eg. Why did they not refer to me by my name? The person hung up. Please could you tell me if this phone call was legitimate? The number: was 01204 924557

That number isn't on our Numbers EE partners will call from list, so it definitely does sound suspicious, and likely a scam.

If you could fill in this Report a scam call form, a security team will look into it further.
