The best thing for anyone to do is if your just a little unsure about any text messages or phone call don't reply to the text messages hang up on the phone call then check with the company or do your homework but always report these things to 7726 if they turn out not to be legit. No matter what take a second or two even if the text or phone want you to react quicky as it's always best to be safe than sorry as there are far to many of these things going around.

Yes, I've just received one of these and thought it was a scam. Thanks for confirming this.

I got one too. Said I had something like 12k points that will expire in three days and when you click the link it takes you to a mirror site with an incorrect website address that wants you to enter your phone number.

Definitely a scam. If you ever get a text that’s outside of what you’re used to seeing, log on to your account from a fresh webpage and check the community. I’m not staff but in this day and age I highly recommend doubting every single text an email you get and assuming it’s a scam. Always check the main site in the community tab and make sure to access it from a web page you opened yourself, never from a link in a text or email.

I risked clicking the link in mine to see if I could find out a bit more info when I came here, but it is always risky to click anything inside a text or email you’re suspicious of, and again, for your own safety, you should be suspicious of EVERY text and email you get. Especially if it is out of the ordinary and different from what you’re used to seeing.

Hello @Gunslingerx

Thanks for coming here and providing some information regarding the text you received.

I would recommend forwarding this text to 7726.

This will allow our back office team to investigate.
