Both my husband and I have had these messages in past week.  It is not possible to forward to 7726/SPAM.

Hope this helps I use a android mobile so don't know if it's different for iPhones ect. Before doing this I often write the number down that sent the suspect message.

To forward a message to 7726:

Open the message app.

Go to the message you want to forward.

Copy the number down that sent the message (I write it down myself).

Tap and hold on the message.

Tap on the three dots (normally top right).

Select forward.

Then select new message and type 7726.

Now hit send.

You will receive a message asking you to reply with the number that sent you the text message.

Type the number you copied ( one you wrote down)

Hit send again.

You will receive a confirmation message

Just got one myself, I almost put my password in then realised it was a mobile number and felt a bit suspicious. Glad I did now, are they phishing. Also had a phone call saying it was EE then asked for my details and password so I just hung up. I don't need anything and when I do I'll call EE myself.

Hi yes they are phishing I'm glad you noticed it wasn't a legitimate message and as for the phone call well done EE wouldn't ring and ask those questions. Anyway I'm glad your safe.

@Emz_4 : It's a scam! There are many of these going the rounds. EE would never send you a msg asking you to click on a link in order to update your a/c.

Report spam texts to your network provider by forwarding the text to 7726 (S.P.A.M. on your keypad).
