Loss of SIM and Network after blocking of SPAM

Hi

Currently using Huawei P20

Not sure if anyone has the same issue, over the weeknd I received a SCAM text perpoting to be from DHL, with out really looking, i reported the number as a SPAM text, and then deleted the text. I have a horrible feeling the it was a text from my own number,.As a result I have lost Network and all SIM functionality. I have ordered and replaced the SIM, which seems to have some functions in the settings, but when i look at the SIM toolkit app it is just saying install SIM.

Any help would be appreciated

@NickC2 : Before reporting it did you click on any links in it & respond without really looking? It's likely you fell for Scam missed delivery texts and Flubot Malware

If you think I helped please feel free to hit the "Thumbs Up" button below.

To phone EE CS: Dial Freephone +44 800 079 8586 - Option 1 for Mobile Phone & Mobile Broadband or Option 2 for Home Broadband & Home Phone

ISPs: 1999: Freeserve 48K Dial-Up => 2005: Wanadoo 1 Meg BB => 2007: Orange 2 Meg BB => 2008: Orange 8 Meg LLU => 2010: Orange 16 Meg LLU => 2011: Orange 20 Meg WBC => 2014: EE 20 Meg WBC => 2020: EE 40 Meg FTTC => 2022: EE 80 Meg FTTC (no landline number)

Thanks for the reply. I have fixed what ever was aisling my network. After a webchat with EE it was just a matter of getting my new SIM registered. I hadn't opened the link so it was more of a concern that I had blocked my own phone when reporting SPAM, as my issues coincided with the scam text, but all fixed now

Thanks
