How do I turn off my content lock?

Welcome to the EE Community 🙂

To remove a content lock when on Pay as you go, if you do not have a credit card, please pop into your local EE store with your valid driving license and one of our store guides can remove the content lock for you.

No problem 🙂

Without a credit card it is not possible to verify age either online or over the phone, if using a driving license or other ID as your proof of age it will have to be done in an EE store.

Hello, sorry for bumping an old thread, i went to my local EE store to remove the content lock and they said i had to speak to customer service as they couldnt do it. Kind of at a loss of what to do as i only have a debit card. Any help would be appreciated.

Did you take any other form of photo ID with you, that confirmed your address and Date of Birth, such as driving licence or passport?

I spoke to one of the employees about removing the content lock and he said i had to contact customer support on 150 as they couldnt remove it themselves.

This would be needed for the guides to help with the content lock.

No, he never asked for it because he said they couldnt remove the content lock and that i had to contact customer support on 150
