Genuine email?

El_May

I’ve been contacted twice in 2mins via email giving me a pin. Then told to phone a number if it wasn’t me. (It wasn’t me talking to EE at that time) … is this genuine? The address is no-reply@info.ee.co.uk. The number to call to report if it wasn’t me is 0800 079 8586.

@El_May  That’s a genuine EE email.  Someone has tried to access your account so you received two factor authentication pin and that PIN number is what you give to customer services when you call them so they know it’s you.
If anyone calls you claiming to be EE do not give that pin.

Login to your EE account and change your password just to be safe.    The longer the password the better is it.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.
