Daily spam calls purporting to be from GP Surgery

I seem to be lucky enough (not) to be getting daily calls from mobile numbers saying I need to update my GP details. Press 1 for english and 2 for chinese is not at all convincing. Any idea on if EE can stop these calls.

Now using the new IOS which silences unknown callers but not ideal.

I understand you can message 7726 with Call and the spam number but it's a rigmarole to go online as well. That said anything to help fight the fight.

The form is now the preferred method by the BT Group.

Spam-filtering of incoming text messages has been developing for a few years now, but ultimately EE cannot stop someone from calling your number.
