So just a second scam call with 5 days of each other. They call claiming the are from EE upgrade.
The 1st one looked and sounded genuine. The only reason i answered was because the number appeared like a common business number as it started with 0330 or something like that. Can't remember exactly. Spoke for a bit with his sales pitch which i nearly fell for. Just so happen i needed to check something on my bill for myself while talking him. Put him on speaker so i could still talk and i noticed the caller id had changed to GRAVEL HILL SERVICE STATION and that's the penny dropped. I think the thing he was using to spoof the number failed during the call and let the real number through. Lucky i hadn't gave him any information yet. the main thing that got me is he knew i had a second number and what it was. It's a number i never give out. EE have no idea how he knew it either. Anyway heres the number and address the phone was registered to
01606 592336
GRAVEL HILL SERVICE STATION, NORTHWICH
2ND time just now
0117 9426637
EAT A PITTA, BRISTOL
I answered and it was same thing, upgrade.
I said "really, so why you calling from a take away. ~ off" and put phone down

I had similar, 2nd time today call came in from 020 3150 4455, telling me i would qualify for a discount on my contract of 30% if I answered three question, first question was how much do I pay EE monthly? - I said I wouldn't confirm any details over the phone as it is not a number I have dialed and she replied by passing me to "supervisor" who told me to ring back on 0330 122 8574 - don't think I'll be ringing her back... 🤔

If you answer the call you probably get on a list of people worth trying to call again and seeing if you fall for next time.
Never deal with cold callers. Even if it was EE, call them.
