sim swapping

I have had a iPHONE 6s with BT for years when BT transferred me to EE they gave me a excellent Sim upgrade which is

much better than the Sim that I have for my newer IPHONE 15 that I have with Tesco

The Tesco Sim is in a rolling contract and the Tesco phone is still on Pay Monthly

Would it be ok to just swap the Sims over?
