I’ve recently ordered a sim card online using a promo code which gave me a discount of 50%, everything went fine and the order was placed. However the next day I received a message saying my order was cancelled without any specific reason. I have then phoned customer service where I explained the situation and I was told I could get my code back/ re-use it if the order was cancelled, I have tried putting the same order through on the phone however I was told I have failed the credit check, I am quite confused as my credit score is good and online my order went through the credit check with no problems. Is there anything I can do? Is there any way to get the code back, or at least a similar one?

@Adrian1506 EE don’t have to give a reason to not accept you as a customer.
Your order doesn’t have to be accepted just because you have a good credit score outside of EE. If you’ve have failed EE credit checks then getting the code back will make no difference you’re not getting that tariff you want.

There's no such thing as a credit score, it's a popular misconception.
You have a credit file which details your credit history. Individual lenders then score this against their own confidential criteria, to make lending decisions. Any other "credit score" you may have is likely to be a marketing piece that is of no relevance beyond the paper it's written on.
Multiple hard credit searches in a short space of time can often have a detrimental effect in the medium-term, but you would need to discuss your specific circumstances with EE-CS.
