I have completed the portal from oO2 to EE however, I am not receiving calls or messages even though I received a notification from EE telling me that the portal process was complete and successful

@mrnick_99 Have you tried restarting the device? Do you have a EE network connection showing on your device?

It's very likely your next call should be to EE CS on 150, however....
Can you make calls & send texts? What number is presented to the recipient?
What happens if someone calls your temporary EE number? Same question for your ported-in number?

Hi bristolian
I am able to make calls and send text messages and it my ported number that is showing on the receivers handset.
When someone tries to call my ported-in number they receive a voice message stating that the number is unavailable.
I have tried calling 150 (EE CS) however there is not an option to actually speak to an advisor, the option is that they call me back, but as my number is not receiving incoming calls or messages, I don't receive their call. (very frustrating...)

Sounds like you might be using the "new visual service" or whatever it's called, on (from memory) option 1. Choose the other option and speaking to CS shouldn't be an issue.

A Quick update..
my original number is still not receiving calls or texts.
i telephoned EE and finally managed to speak to a real person but because it was Saturday, the portal team are not working and so I need to wait until Tuesday (because it’s bank holiday weekend) for the issue to be looked into.
So no incoming calls or texts for four days, could be longer…

EE historically had internal porting support available at weekends, although any external issues would need third party escalation.
Not sure if this may have changed.
