im currently setting up my new phone but dont have the old one with me as it is lost, could i send me esim to my mums phone and then delete it, would i still be able to use the number on my new phone

yes it is and no i dont, its an esim but cant get the code because i dont have a phone is there anyway to get a code so i cant enter my new phone

@zacscarborough Unlocking the device to access it has nothing to do with a eSim.
You need a replacement SIM card as there is no way around the fact you don’t have a working device to receive a text. That pin can not be sent to any other number. This has nothing to do with an iCould account.
To gain access to the device that’s via a password/passcode that’s what ever you put on the device when you set it up. This has nothing to do with a sim/eSim
