If you switch from PAYG to pay-monthly using switch to pay-monthly you will retain your number as a matter of course.

If you contact EE C/S on 150 they should be able to transfer your existing PAYG number across and replace your "new" number.

Did you buy a contract or a PAYG plan? Can you not just put your old SIM in the new phone?

I bought a number from those sold on the market, I have had this number for 9 months, I entered the app and purchased a device along with a new monthly plan, today I received the device and a sim card with a new number but I wanted to continue with my number on this new plan

If you want to keep your new PAYM plan but have your PAYG number transferred, then C/S on 150 should be your next port of call.

What does texting AL to 150 from the new SIM fully report verbatim (it is free)?
