got a replacement sim but it still has no service

i had issues with my sim card-my phone wouldnt recognise that the sim card was in there- i put in my partners sim, which it recognised, and put my sim in his phone, but it didnt recognise it, so i know its the sim thats damaged and not the phone itself. 

i ordered a replacement sim, and have put it in my phone. its been 48 hours but it still has no signal or 4G. it said on the package that i dont have to activate it. i have tried restarting my phone mulitple times.

any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hello @Katehunt 

I would call EE on 150 from your Partners phone as the Sim might not be activated.

Are the symptoms the same in both phones?

I've phoned 150 and they have said to go into a store, so I'm in my way there now-fingers crossed they fix it!!!
