eSim issue

I have using EE for 4 years now have been using eSim ever since. Now I want to upgrade my sim plan to unli data. Howver, when I was about to checkout, it says my physical sim will be delivered to my address. But i don’t want a physical sim. I want the upgrade to apply on my current eSIM.

Welcome to the Community 😊

If your current SIM plan is already out of contact, this will update automatically on your existing eSIM within 24 hours of your order. 

Alternatively if you're still in contract, it will update on the day that your minimum commitment period comes to an end. 

Like @Schockwave mentioned, sometimes a physical SIM will be sent out with an upgrade, but this won't be activated with your number and plan unless you ask us to.

Are you sure you're going through the Upgrade route and not an Additional Line?

What tariff is it that you've chosen? (Monthly price and plan name)

@Tabsy , even if EE send out a physical SIM card, you do not need to use it, you should just be able to continue with the E-Sim, so long as you ordered an upgrade and did not add an additional line by mistake.

To contact EE customer service dial 150 from your mobile phone or ring customer service for free using web based app or another phone: +44 800 079 8586 or +44 800 956 6000.

Will the upgrade be automatically applied on my eSim straight away?
