Hi
I have multiple lines (due to multiple kids) and today upgraded two of them to iPhone 14s. However, I didn’t know about eSIMs so kid 3 is going to end up with kid 2’s phone number and vice versa unless I can change the number on the new eSIM.
Kid 3 is due a new handset, Kid 2 isn’t. The other new handset is for me and that eSIM has the correct number associated with it.
Can I change/allocate the number on the new eSIM to a different number? If so how
TIA

Hi @ElTheBillPayer.
If an upgrade has been processed on the wrong line, please give us a call.

Hi Katie
thanks for your reply.
The upgrade isn’t on the “wrong” line as such but previously when I’ve upgraded lines/handsets, we’ve been able to switch SIM cards around so that whoever needs a new handset gets one. That way, it doesn’t matter which line is due an upgrade, and that rotation of handsets has always worked well.
Today, I upgraded 2 (of 4) lines that were due but because they’re eSIMs one of them will be allocated to the number of the kid who doesn’t need a new handset.
I need to know if I can swap the number as I would’ve swapped a SIM card.

Hi @ElTheBillPayer.
I don't believe numbers for the eSIMs will be able to be swapped on your EE account.
Would using a physical SIM be an option or do you prefer to keep the numbers on an eSIM?

Hi
You prompted me to do some further research, it’s only US iPhone 14s that *don’t* have a tray/slot for a physical SIM so I worried for nothing 🙃
Both handsets should have slots for SIM cards and we already have SIM cards so everyone who needs a new phone will get one.
I really appreciate your help x
