eSIM not provisioned

Hi.

I'm trying to get an eSIM on a Flip 3 via scanning a QR code from another device. It downloaded to the desired phone but shows 'SIM not provisioned.' Any help gratefully received.

Do you have a physical SIM?

If yes, is this still working OK?

No, I have no physical SIM. I disconnected the eSIM in another device, assuming I wouldn't be allowed two eSIMs with the same number. I now have no working SIM at all. Why would a downloaded eSIM fail to provision?

We have no account access here on the community.

I would recommend giving us a call from another line or pop into your local EE Store. 

The store will be able to provide you with a replacement SIM should you take photo ID.

I understand that but I was asking why a downloaded eSIM won't provision on my device, which is eSIM compatible. However, I guess calling will be the best way forward.
