eSIM IPHONE 16 PRO MAX

Hi.
I do have an iPhone 15 Pro Max with a physical SIM card. Recently I bought an iPhone 16 Pro Max and I would like to have the eSIM, from the same SIM card that is in the iPhone 15 Pro Max. I have check this link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UPtnZ_sWQBk on how to transfer the SIM card from one iPhone to another iPhone.
Will it be possible to have the SIM card in the iPhone 15 as well as the eSIM in the iPhone 16 both working with the same mobile number?

No, this is not possible. One SIM = one number.

An electronic SIM is an alternative to a physical SIM, if you activate one the other gets deactivated.
