Will phone upgrade come with new sim card?

Hi, lost my old phone which was sim only on ee. Ordered new phone as was due upgrade anyway but will this come with a new sim card and if not how do I go about getting a new sim card for new phone? Thanks.

Upgrade phones often come with new SIMs incase there's a problem with your current one or it's the wrong size.

Did you order your upgrade by online self-serve or via calling CS? If the latter, I would expect a replacement SIM to come in the box.
