Where’s my “eSIM”

Ipod

im (was) a lifetime 02 customer of 35+ years.

i think I’ve made a mistake switching to ee.

ordered a ee eSIM pay monthly contract, got an email saying my package will turn up 1-2 days..eh I’ve ordered an eSIM, so waited and nothing turned up, called CS apparently I need a QR code to scan (come on ee this is the 21st century) and she said it’ll be here today via Royal Mail…weird as ee app says dpd.

today came, nothing from anyone, so called CS again, and he was about as useful as a fire guard made of ice, I asked can you just email me the QR code as you know we’re living in the digital age, nope apparently ee hasn’t even discovered fire yet, let alone send things via email.

why can’t the “technical team” bypass this bit of paper to get my contract live!

so here I am 5-7 days since ordering, with nothing from ee apart from noticing that I’m getting billed as from yesterday 🤷🏻‍♂️

I’m this close to cancelling the whole lot with ee, and going back to 02 with my tail between my legs.

Yep nothing in any folders

im now being billed by ee, and I’ve not even used or connected to their stupid network.

ee CS today sent me 2 links to download and activate eSIM, but the links don’t work.

so think I’m going to cancel my order whilst I’m still in my cooling off period, and stay with O2, as if this is they treat new customers, then I hold no hope for the future with ee.

and being billed for a service I haven’t even used or connected to their network yet, has just tipped me over the edge!

Hi @Ipod

I'm sorry to hear this.

When you click the link provided do you get an error message?

Yup url doesn’t exist message

so from delivery in 1-2 days, to 5 days, lies from CS, being billed for a service only 6 days in that I’m not even able to use, to links that don’t exist from CS, I shall bid an up yours to ee and exit my contract within my cooling off period, and stay with 02!
