I have an iPhone XS which is using the SIM port for my current provider and want to add my EE account as a second line, keeping my existing provider on the physical SIM card.
I want to use my EE account with an eSIM, but as I was sent a standard SIM card I need to know how to do it. There does seem to be several helpful videos out there, but none (I can find!) that meets my specific needs.
When I asked about this, when I first approached EE, I was told I would have to register the SIM first, then change it for an eSIM, so I have to remove my existing SIM, install the EE SIM, convert that to an eSIM using the app or website, then reinstall the original SIM.
Have I got that right, please?
Thank you

Hi James,
There was no QR code, no.
I was able to get this resolved after a 30 minute wait on the phone to EE tech support, though.
Thank you
