Upgrade Sim - will it include data roaming?

Hi

I am on a SIM only contract (from December 2020) and am looking to upgrade to a new SIM only deal.

If I upgrade to a 12 month Essential plan will I have to buy an add on to use my phone in the EU??

Welcome to the community. 

Customers who upgrade or joined after July 7th 2021 will be charged for roaming abroad.

If you choose to upgrade roaming will then be chargeable.

Can you confirm if the Essential plans have an add-on for roaming?  Or is it just the All Rounder plans that allow this add-on as part of the plan?

Hi @Dondoh. 

All Rounder plans have inclusive extras which means you can choose the Roam Abroad Pass as your extra which means there would be no additional charge to use your phone in the EU. 

Essential plans will have the option to purchase a pass for either for £25 or £2.29 per day.
