I have had two iPads for a few years and have one SIM which I have been in the habit of swapping between my mini iPad and my larger one, I have a new mini that will only take an eSIM- no SIM tray ☹️

Is there any way I can use  one eSIM on two devices without having to pay twice? The scenario I’m looking for is to have the eSIM active on one device today and then turn it off and active on another tomorrow… and then back again say a week later?
it was easy to do with a physical SIM card in my old devices but now I think I’m scuppered.

Any advice?

Sorry! I posted too soon, I’ve made a new post with the same title.

i couldn’t work out how to delete my first post 😫

@Riverbond why start a new thread when you already had started one, you should have continued in the previous one.. Not sure you can do that, but you can always hotspot one  of them.

You would have to have a QR code every day to do this.

Where did you get the mini IPad, as I was under the impression that outside the US, all devices have a sim slot.

Thanks @Riverbond

Does your larger iPad support eSIM as well?

The only option I could see would be to transfer the eSIM between the devices, if it is supported on both devices, but you'd need to do it each time you want to change between devices @Riverbond.

You can see which iPads do support this and how to transfer the eSIM on the Apple website.
