I bought a sim with EE and transferred my SKY number so it would be ready when I receive the sim, how will I know when my old number has transferred and will I be able to use all other functions until the number has transferred
The porting process only starts when you activate the SIM, then it should happen next business day. You can use the temporary number assigned to the SIM until that happens and get the same access you'll get when your number ports over.
