Transferred to EE - need to change the phone number recorded on the SIM

Good morning

I recently transferred to EE, and ported my old number - it's working fine.

However, the information on the phone is still showing the original number of the new SIM card.  How do I change it?  The instructions on the website only refer to Iphones, I have Android.

@kphunter   Did you give your PAC code from your old network provider?  

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

Yes - I made a 2 minute call, as advised by the helpline, and am receiving text messages sent to the new number.  The new number is working, but looking at the details in SIM Manager on the phone, it is still showing the old number of the sim card.

You can try popping your SIM card briefly into a different phone to manually update the number, Or you can call Customer Service on 150 where they can send a SIM refresh to your phone which should update the stored number. 

Before you do those- have you tried restarting your device since your number changed over?
