Transferred number to EE but not receiving SMS

Hello. I recently switched from Giffgaff to EE on Pay As You Go, which was initiated via a PAC code on the 16th of July, and then confirmed complete by SMS the next day.

I’ve been receiving SMS from 150 fine, topped up with a pack, and I’m able to make and receive calls, and also send out SMS. However, I’ve never been able to receive SMS from other numbers which is vital as I’m locked out of several online accounts otherwise. I use an iPhone 16e but this issue also occurs when I pop my SIM into a basic Nokia phone.

Could someone please help? Has the transfer failed somewhere? Thanks

Hello. Thanks for the swift response. I’ll also report these to 150 too. Results:

- Send a text to myself? On iPhone, it says ‘Not Delivered’, on Nokia phone, there is a logo with an envelope and up arrow that never goes away and the SMS never arrives in the inbox, so I assume it failed to send

- Receive texts from other users? No, on both iPhone and Nokia phones

- Receive texts from automated senders? I assume you mean like when SMS verification when I try to log into a website. No, on both iPhone and Nokia phones

Note, the following work fine:

- sending out SMS to other numbers

- making and receiving calls

- using mobile data to browse

I’m happy to report this is now resolved. Spoke directly to 150 on Sunday evening, and the lovely gentlemen was able to escalate a case to the porting team. I can now receive SMS messages from any number.
