Transfered phone number does not appear in phones data

Moved phone from BT to EE and old number was transferred to new phone but old number doae not appear in the phone data only the new SIM number. Why doesn't the phone data show my old phone number

Is the number working normally, other than showing incorrectly in the phone menus? Are you able to type the correct number in manually?
