Transfer of number

I have transferred from Plusnet to EE, I inserted the new sim yesterday evening. Just wondering how long I have to wait before my old number is active. I provided the PAC number on the form I filled in online, it also appeared on the delivery note. Do I have to do anything else?

And of course what about those call centre teams in other countries… please don’t give the impression that your call centre team staff are ONLY located in UK or Ireland; obviously they are not

Really? Perhaps ‘technically’ correct in that all calls are routed through UK and Ireland call centres, but are these calls then ‘re-routed’ to other overseas call centres? 

Hi I transferred from o2 and it’s been over a week and my old number still isn’t working but I can txt but cannot call any one? Please help
