Transfer from BT- which SIM is which?

I am with BT Mobile and have three family Sims- me, my wife and my daughter. They told me it would be best to switch to EE, so I agreed. We would take our numbers with us.

EE have now sent me three Sims, in three different envelopes. Each SIM has a temporary number, and has no indication which one belongs to which number to be transferred.

My daughter is away at the moment so I can't just put a SIM in, because I might just kill her existing SIM.

So I'm stuck and can't do anything with these Sims. I guess I'll have to phone them tomorrow and go through all that. I'm betting it is a battle, trying to explain when they say I'm not an EE customer.

Unless I'm missing something? It's not that I can just insert any of them and allocate my number to it? Is there anything I can do to sort this mess out?

@bejb  You’ll have to call customer services to resolve this as they can tell you which sim will be with which number.   You are a customer as you have that temporary number and that temporary number is still linked to your EE account. ( at present that number isn’t temporary it just a sim has to have a number allocated to it but your going to replace that number with your own )

Number migrations don’t happen over the weekend, your number will start to port Monday and be completed Tuesday.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

Many thanks for the reply and the solution. I phoned them and they were able to provide the information I needed as to which sim would become which number.

I do think it is a bit bonkers that they didn't provide this information in with the sims. With BT selling their family deal hard and then saying people should transfer to EE, there are going to be a lot of people with the same problem. EE really need to improve this process for others when transferring. It doesn't provide the best first impression for people transferring to them.

I  100% agree total **bleep** up I can't get transfer from bt family SIM to new ee family SIM plan it won't let me even though I've been a bt mobile customer for approx 8 years and BT CUSTOMER for over 30+ years ??? Absolutely diabolical set-up bt should never have amalgamated with EE . Old saying don't fix what isn't broken, BT was perfect as it was now it's broken as EE CANT SEEM TO GET THINGS PROFFESIONALLY RIGHT
