hi
Can anyone help as I read so much different opinions . I have an EE esim in my iPhone and want to transfer to new iPhone 14.. they have a feature which I think allows you to do this automatically etc.. my question is .. the esim card is already activated and working in my old phone, after the transfer to the new phone will I have to activate the esim again or will it remain activated? the reason I ask as I'm currently in France and I know you cant activate esim when abroad.. so if it remains activated I think I will be ok?

I tried this yesterday and myself and EE could not get the esim to transfer from my old iPhone to the new one. In the end I had to go to EE and get a physical sim so I could use my own phone.
I’m looking to convert this back to a esim at some point but will only try it when I know there’s an EE shop open just encase there any further issues
