Hi all,
I finally bit the bullet and decided to leave vodaphone and join EE.
I set this up in store on Sunday and the guy told me that the switch would happen yesterday (Monday) automatically. It got to 6pm and I was still getting vodaphone 4G on my old device so called vodaphone who advised me that it can take up to midnight on the switch date.
I’ve woken up today (Tuesday) and my old phone is still connecting to Vodaphone, the advisor told me this is EE would is responsible for this.
Not a great start, does anyone have any advice on this or has any experience of this?
Many thanks in advance

You were misadvised as to the timescales. Porting does not happen on weekends or bank holidays.
If you provided your PAC to EE on Sunday - and assuming it was submitted - your EE line will be active with a temporary number, and your Vodafone line continue in the meantime.
Your PAC should have been submitted Monday 7th, and port-in should be set for today, Tuesday 8th. Assume the worst and your PAC has not been submitted, it can be done today for a port-in on Wednesday 9th. EE-CS have access to your individual account and can check if necessary.

Hiya,
Thanks so much for the reply, you were spot on with your timescales - phone was active about 3pm on the Tuesday 👍🏽
And jeez is this 5G far superior to Vodaphone…..Happy days!!
