Have you ported your number from another network? If you did I take it you got the PAC code and have now passed it on to EE. If that is the case, then until the transfer is complete, you have a temporary number, and once transfer is complete, you will receive a text message from EE letting you know that the transfer is complete and you should then reboot your phone and see your number transferred.
This usually takes up to 24 hours except weekends and bank holidays where transfer will not happen.
