That’s normal for it to show like that if you’ve transferred it to a new phone, tha actual phone number should work fine

This is not a SOLITION it is a REASON !

I need a solution- so ot shows the correct number on my phone.

If it's an iPhone, go to Settings -> Phone -> My Number and you can change it there

I am using an Android. I can't seem to see any way of changing it.

Go to Messages,

  1. Click on your picture/head icon to the right of Search Links
  2. in Settings go to
  3. Advanced
  4. Second from the bottom update 'Phone Number'
