Sim change and now unable to make calls/send texts

I recently moved from tmobile pay as you go to ee pay as you go. I asked to keep my old number and the store arranged this. However, although I am receiving calls and texts I'm not able to send anything myself! Any attempts to call receive the message 'The systems busy'. Ive been back to the shop and I've spoken to the tech desk and they couldn't help. I'm getting frustrated as have been without access now for the past week and no one can help

Hi Northerner

Its a Samsung Galaxy S9....I'm not one for new models!!!

Looking in the settings it states the number is the one that was on the new Sim but when we try to call it comes up with a not valid message. Even the tech team could see that this number was being 'replaced by my original number but couldn't explain why calls were coming in but not going out

It does also say on the sim card settings that the mobile network state is disconnected but I can't see anywhere to connect this

I can't immediately recall the cause of this, but it's nothing to concern - my various Samsungs also display this when VoLTE is working fine.
