Shifting from 3 to EE

Hi, looking for some advice ordered a sim only contract on 31st Jan, email received to confirm order number, and yet nothing received since.

I was looking to port my number but have an important call next week. Now having a bit of a panic that I'm not going to have a working number.

How long should it be for delivery of my sim? I'd looked to do a online chat but there doesn't seem to be an option for this which seems odd in 2025.

New SIMs are usually despatched by Royal Mail second-class post, have you queried the lack of updates with CS?

Your new EE SIM will have a temporary number assigned when you first receive it. If a PAC was supplied as part of the order, that will be submitted when you first activate the new SIM onto EE's network. Until that PAC is submitted, your number will remain live on your current network and all calls - important or otherwise - will be received there.

A port-in date will be set then, usually the following working day. This assumes activation during normal working hours - if during the evening, add an extra working day to these timescales.
