Transfer from o2 to EE

I seem to have had a couple of missed calls from EE, but I can’t talk on the phone, and there doesn’t seem to be any kind of live chat option. Last week I placed an order for sim-free monthly package, to transfer me from rubbish o2 to EE. I did the PAC code thing to keep my number, but how will I know when I’ve been transferred? How long does it usually take? Do I need to cancel o2 myself or will the transfer cancel it out? Help please.

@KitJP79   Once you’ve activated the EE sim  card it’ll take up to 24 hours for your number to migrate over from O2.  You don’t need to inform 02 of this as the port out will do that.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

Thank you. I’ve not received my EE sim? Should it take this long?

Not "upto 24 hours", but the following working day.

Your new EE SIM will have a temporary number assigned when you first receive it. If a PAC was supplied as part of the order, that will be submitted when you first activate the new SIM onto EE's network.

A port-in date will be set then, usually the following working day. This assumes activation during normal working hours - if during the evening, add an extra working day to these timescales.

New & replacement SIMs are usually despatched by Royal Mail second-class post.

Hi there @KitJP79

Thanks for coming to the community

How long ago did you place the order? If we have tried calling you we may need more details for the SIM Only plan to be set up. Have you had any emails from us asking you to call?

Leanne 🙂

Hi Leanne, I’m autistic and I can’t talk on the phone. I haven’t had any email from you; but I have had several missed calls that seem to be from EE. Please can I sort this by email or WhatsApp or some form of messaging? Thanks 😊

Ps I placed the order on the 30th Jan

Hi there @KitJP79

Thanks for coming back to me with the extra details and I will certainly see what I can do to help you on the community.

What number called you? Did they leave a voicemail?

SIM Orders can take 2-5 working days to arrive, they are delivered by Royal Mail and no signature is needed. Did you receive an email to let you know the SIM has been dispatched?

I am sorry we have no option to get in touch using WhatsApp, the message us option would be available in the EE app Help section for a pay monthly account. This would show once you're all set up with the EE SIM card.

Leanne.

Sorry for the delayed reply! The number that’s been calling is 01942 901395. No voicemails left. A Google suggests it could be EE related? I’ve still not had my sim 😞 or any email to say it’s been despatched.

Hi again @KitJP79, I'm disappointed to hear that you've not had any further updates on this.

The number that called here is indeed a number linked with EE; it belongs to Interact who are one of our outbound partners that help promote additional EE products and services.

We wouldn't expect them to be calling about order updates though, so I'd just like to check a few more details.

Please don't share this in public, but when you placed your order did you receive a reference number starting with XK?
