Hi EE Team,
I have an active EE SIM ******** I topped up £5 , but I’m not receiving any verification SMS from WhatsApp or other services. Can you please check if there's a block or issue on my number regarding international or short-code messages?
Thanks!

Hi @OMAR1122
You mentioned you bought the SIM card from Ukraine and living in Ukraine?
Just so you know, when you are new to Pay as you go, you'll need to complete security activation by making your first call while in the UK connected to the EE network.
It sounds like you've not had the opportunity to do that yet, which is why the incoming service messages have now stopped.
Are you able to make calls or send any SMS?
One way to resolve this would be to send the SIM card back to the UK for a trusted family member to make the first Pay as you go call, and send back to you.

Hi there @OMAR1122
Thanks for coming to the community.
Just to add to @Northerner's questions, could you also let us know if you can you receive texts from any other mobile numbers, or is this only affecting verification texts from companies?
Can you make and receive calls?
Thanks 🙂
Leanne.

Had you used that PAYG SIM for making calls or texts in UK before going abroad? To be used abroad EE PAYG SIMs need 1st activating on EE's home UK network. If it wasn't you can't now use it until you return to UK.
