Hi - my contract ended a year ago and has been in tick over since then. I have just done a sim only upgrade, and the start time is in the past according to the email - it hasn't updated on My EE yet, so I don't really know what to do. When would a plan normally start in this case?
If someone could also advise if I will be receiving a new SIM card, that would be great

Hi @timholgate That does sound confusing.
If you've agreed to an upgraded sim only plan, your contract date would start from the day that you take out the deal, or a future date if your current deal hasn't ended yet.
I want to make sure that you get some clarity on your specific situation, so I'd recommend giving the customer service team a call on 150 from your EE phone, then a guide can look into your account.

A change of price-plan is an account change and can be done remotely - it shouldn't necessitate any need to replace a perfectly working SIM.
