SIM CARD

So I lost my phone on holiday and had to buy a new SIM card linked to my old phone. I put the SIM card into one of my boyfriends old phones but my calls, texts and data won’t work. At first I thought it was because his phone was locked as he had a Vodaphone phone, but we got in touch with Vodaphone and they said the phone was unlocked and it should work fine. I still can’t receive or send text messages or phone calls, I can only iMessage and use things that only need wifi,

really stuck, can someone please help me x

@Milliegall      You don’t need to purchase a SIM card if you loose your original one you have to call customer services and request a replacement SIM card.   Buying a new Sim card you now have a new number that isn’t linked to your EE account.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

No sorry that’s what I meant @Chris_B, I got a replacement SIM card so it’s still the same number etc, but it still isn’t working

Hi @Postolachi,

Welcome to the EE Community.

I'm sorry to hear you've lost your SIM. Please get in touch with Customer Care to report it. The team will disconnect your old SIM so no one can use it and get a replacement out to you.

Thanks 🙂

James
