Returns/esim

Good morning,

I am returning an iphone. I have spoken with an operator and will return in the post today.

However, when I initially set it up (then realised it was too big and wanted to exchange for a mini) I used

e-sim when setting up from my old iphone. I reset the new phone to the factory reset, but I can no longer use my (old)phone to make calls or order a new one. I do not have another line to do this.

Can I do anything about this?

(I'm sure you can tell I am not techy 🙂 )

Thank you very much

@Offshorefibreso   Your sim information got transferred to the ESim so your old sim is dead.  You need to request a replacement SIM card. ( you have to call customer services to request a replacement sim ) You’ll not be able to upgrade again until EE have processed the return device and your account has switched back to your old tariff this can take up to 7-10 days.    Make sure you use the returns package that you are sent to return the unwanted device back in.     Make sure you have removed the new device from your apple account also as a factory reset doesn’t do that.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.
