Hi
Can anyone tell me if they have succeeded in recovering a mobile number? I have been locked out of so many different accounts due to the change of mobile number. I wish EE had advised me that there would be issues with 2-factor verifications before allowing me to change my mobile number.
I was initially with Orange, then O2 and now EE.
I am hoping so, as I need to get my life back.
Thanks!
Pecks

@Pecks Why would EE advise you on something that has nothing to do with them. These are your security measures. If you gave up a number you’ll not get it back.

EE would "allow" you to change your mobile number on request from yourself. It's not something they would proactively do.
SMS-based 2FA are just like any other SMS - they are sent to a specific mobile number. If you change your number from A to B, then you will no longer receive any calls or texts sent to A.
