Pre smartphone sim

I am buying a smartphone, I have an ee sim but it’s for an old style phone which is pay as you go and I don’t have an account. I can’t register my device. I have chosen the phone I want and a subscription pack. Can I keep the ee phone number to use on the new device? If so how? Thanks

You may transfer your existing SIM to any device if it fits.

SIMs don't distinguish between smartphones & dumb phones.

Thank you. The old sim is pay as you go using a top up card. I would like to change to a subscription pack. Do I need a new sim for that?

No, you can have a pack on PAYG if you haven't already got 1.

What does texting AL to 150 from your no. fully report verbatim (it is free)?
