Hi there,
I recently left 02 and they generated a PAC code for me to transfer my number to a new provider. I brought a EE Pay as You Go Sim Card and tried to transfer my number via the online form. However, it keeps saying the EE number is incorrect, when it isn’t being incorrectly put. Yet it will send a code to that number to verify it.
My question is do I need to top up in order to transfer my number to this SIM card or is this a technical error.
Solved! See the answer below or view the solution in context.

hello you shouldnt need to top up to transfer your number. your best option would be to phone customer service on 150 and give them your pac code they will get this done quickly for you.
p.s please bear in mind if you submit your pac code on a weekend your number will take up to 2 working days to transfer. i hope this helps

Good afternoon @Bhumika1713.
Welcome to the community.
When you receive your EE SIM you will receive a temporary number until your number port completes.
Did you provide us with your PAC code from your old provider?

Hi @Jithender,
Welcome to the EE Community. 🙂
When did you share your PAC code?
Did you submit it online?
