Porting problem

I've transferred from Plusnet to EE but the request to port my number has been refused because the number is not recognised or invalid. I have checked it multiple times and spent hours on the phone to EE. EE have told me to contact TRANSATEL but I've had no response from them. Has anyone else had dealings with TRANSATEL?  I feel like I'm sending emails into a void.

I was away when the SIM card arrived, so I think it was 30th August when I put the SIM card in.

During the first week of August, I think. I was away helping family as we were waiting for the arrival of a new baby.

Is the Plusnet SIM card still working? 

If you text NUMBER to 150 from the EE SIM card, does this show the temporary EE number?
