Hi
My wife's contract with 3 has expired and I have moved her over to my account with EE. When speaking to the EE representative last Sunday, he said if I gave him the PAC code then everything would be in place for when the SIM card arrived so the number porting would be almost straight away. The card arrived on Thursday but I could not put it in until last night as I have been away. I put it in around 1900 last night and as of 0900 today, it still has not changed to her number. Is this normal?
Thanks in advance

Thanks @NigeTheMiller, I'm glad to hear that's on its way over now!
We recommend it can take up until midnight of the port date for this to fully complete, so you may notice the service for this number being split between us and her old network during this period.
It's often much quicker than that though, but if you did still notice anything odd after that point, just give our Technical support team a shout and they can take a closer look.

Hello @NigeTheMiller ,
Welcome to the community,
Number porting does not happen at the weekend, so it should happen today, at least start and can take up to 24 hours before the porting is done. You will get a message when it has all been done.

Hey there @NigeTheMiller 😊
Thanks for stopping by, and it's great to hear you've brought your wife over to EE too!
With port in requests, when you provide your PAC at the point of sale, this will sit in a pending state until your new SIM first connects to the network.
After this has connected, the port will be brought forward to the next eligible day.
If it was Sunday night that this was requested, it will most likely be Tuesday morning that the number starts moving over.

Thank you for you help. It has, indeed, ported over this morning. Thanks again
